Give joy to a child this Christmas

Last night our family went to Wal-Mart to buy stuff for Operation Christmas Child. It is the 2nd year that our family is participating in this ministry. Erica at first didn't understand why we were buying small toys and personal items, wanting to keep them for herself. However, we showed her the DVD about Operation Christmas Child. I told her that the boxes filled with items will go to other children who don’t have anything. I told her to remember the girl who was crying when she received a box with a toy doll that she has been wanting for so long. I think Erica understood why we were wrapping the box and filling it with gifts. I told her that we were going to take the boxes to church. She said ok but she also said to make one box for her.  I'll get her a Christmas gift and wrap it in a shoebox for her. For those reading this message, please consider taking some time to prepare a shoebox for Operation Christmas Child.

March Update

Timothy @ 2 months

He is a such calm baby.  Other than not sleeping long enough during the day time, I have nothing to complain about.  He is already sleeping 5 to 6 hours at night.  Hopefully, by next month he can sleep throughout the night.  That is my wish!!!!! :) 

Erica wearing a dress...

Last Sunday, I made Erica wear a dress.  For some reason(s), she hates wearing a dress and tying her hair.  I have all these cute hair pins, but she won't wear them.  I even had to bribe her to wear the red dress pictured above.  Hopefully, she'll grow out of this phase and want to look more girlish.

We put our house on the market so that we can find a place a little bigger for four of us.  Here are some pictures of our place after staging it.  I have to clean/organize the place every day, since I don't know when a potential buyer might show up to look at the house.  I feel bad for Erica, since I had to put a lot of her toys away in the garage. 

Jaewoo is busy as usual.  He is working long hours and also more involved at church.  Hopefully, he can manage his time better and wisely.    

For myself, I'm doing fine.  I'll be staying home for the next 2 years, so no more teaching or subbing.  Hopefully, God will open up doors for me to find a teaching job later on.  I might take classes at night to keep myself busy and sane.
